Aromahead Institute

Last month we sold Aromatics International to a wonderful Aomatherapist, Karen Williams. This is my excuse for being almost two months late with this newsletter! I am writing again and hope to publish a newsletter every month with creative business ideas and helpful information about essential oils.

The inspiration to move the web store to Montana and have Karen run it came from the growth of Aromahead Institute. We are now offering more in-depth classes on the medicinal uses of essential oils and we are in the process of writing several new online classes.

One of the new online classes will be a business class for people who want to grow and develop a web presesnce for their online businesses. Also in the works is Cindy's new Acupressure Fundamentals class, and my advanced class in the chemistry and blending of essential oils. I will let you know as these classes become ready.

We have also developedd a website template business, Business Scents, with our web designer, Andi Graham. Business Scents will have website templates available within a few weeks.

So, I've been a little busy...

Lusciuos skin

I love using body butters. Here's one of my favorite recipes for one you can make at home:

Luscious Skin Recipe
Makes about 9 oz

1 oz Beeswax
2 oz Cocoa butter
2 oz Red palm
1 oz Marula
2 oz Baobab

Melt the beeswax and cocoa butter in a double boiler, and then add the Red Palm. (I add the butters and oils to a 16 oz Pyrex measuring cup and place the cup in a pot with with some water in the bottom of the pot.) Once the Red Palm is melted, take the pot off the heat and add the Marula and Baobab and stir. Pour into several 1 or 2 oz glass jars right away, cover and allow to cool. Read More
